Challenge
The platform was running a 15-year-old core with custom patches everywhere. Adding a new product took months and reporting was manual. They needed a path to a modern platform without a big-bang cutover: APIs first, then gradual product migration, with no downtime for customers.
Solution
We designed an API-led integration layer that sits between the existing core and new channels and products. We built event streams for state and transactions so new services can subscribe without touching the legacy system. Phase 1 delivered core APIs, statement generation, and the first reports from the new layer. The core stays in place until each product is migrated.
